Rest in Peace victims in Colorado by looklooklookitabook Rest in Peace victims in Colorado by looklooklookitabook
Rest in Peace victims in Colorado....

---

I am sickened to hear that even movie theaters have become a battleground for the insanity that lies beyond. Twisted people destroying people's very lives and for what? There is no logical reason for this.... I hope that every person who lost someone will find comfort somewhere and that those who were lost will rest in peace. It's a tragic thing that never should have taken place. <8(

I know they will start trying to control more things about movie theaters now which, is understandable, but not what we need.
We don't need metal detectors before watching a film. We need psychos like this man DISCOURAGED.
Think about how the movie industry, as well as people going to see them, will suffer for this if they do up security at theaters. It won't be a place to relax, it will be airports in America 2.0.
If any of you have ever used commercial airways before, you'd know what it's like. Many people avoid using airplanes now and it ends up costing them more because they are SUCH a problem. Imagine going to see a FILM on the weekend and arriving a bit late, you will have to unload your purse/bag/everything, go through a metal detector, deal with whatever you might have on you like change or keys, and GOD KNOWS WHAT OTHER THINGS THEY'LL MAKE YOU DO JUST SO YOU CAN SEE THE MOVIE. A MOVIE. A FREAKING MOVIE.

The solution to this problem is really hard to define, seeing as we are dealing with completely demented people with obviously no sense of right or wrong, but more security at theaters is NOT one of them.

The disgusting person who did this.... Some people say he was trying to redo a scene from a Batman comic before but whatever the case may be, it doesn't give ANYONE the right to do something like this. Ever.
He needs to suffer an extreme punishment for this terrible crime. I don't mean a few years in prison, or even a life sentence, I mean he needs the death sentence. If there was something worse, than that would be the next option.

It needs to be proof that violent acts against other people, innocent people, is NOT to be tolerated. The only people who should feel afraid in our country, to live from day to day, are criminals, murderers, rapists... All distorted minded people who are willing to inflict pain upon another for no reason at all...

Instead of making OUR lives harder because of some murderer by upping security, they should be cracking down harder on people like this. Discouraging crime. Not letting them get away with such awful things by sending them to prison for a few years....

12 innocent people were killed and 30 + wounded. Most of them are still in critical condition and could die over time. I hope and pray that everyone who survived will be alright.

Anyhow, thanks for viewing and everyone, please pray for the people if you can.

I know, they were just going and seeing a movie. I don't think I can even imagine how that would feel. <8\

I actually haven't heard of that but I will look into it. It's true, more awful stuff is happening because no one is learning that there are extreme consequences to their wrong actions. Instead these people go to prison for a few years and get to kick back, watch TV, eat three meals a day, have all their living expenses taken care of, even run businesses from inside out if they have proper connections. While outside, people are dead and families struggle more and more every day to stay afloat while murders and criminals are taken care of and given a place to sleep every night. It's so screwed up.

The problem is people crack down on guns when the weapon does nothing without a user. People kill people and instead of punishing this man for what he did, they will use it as another lame ass excuse to keep guns away from people. :iconeyerollplz:

Criminals need to be the only people who are afraid. Everyone else should be free to live how they want to and not have to worry about being safe when going to see a midnight showing of the latest Batman movie, you know?

I bet your work looks nice though! I didn't spend much time perfecting it so it's accompanied with flaws all it's own. xD

That is good! I'm glad for them as well. <3 I know they are much appreciated.

Personally, I find it sad that as a young teen I'm losing faith in my own country. Call me unpatriotic, when you give me a good reason to be proud OTHER than the past. I want to be proud of a present and a future. All I see is a corrupting country jumping down hill gladly. I think this whole county is screwed. Not just the system. I've tryed looking for reasons to not be cynical, I really have, but I can't find any ):<

I don't find it unpatriotic at all. Noticing we have a problem is step#one to solving it. I agree with you completely on this but I do still LOVE my country for what it was, is sometimes, and CAN BE AGAIN. Giving up hope in the place you live will only make things worse, which is ultimately what got us in this position as a country to begin with. People who disagreed sat down and stayed silent. Those who see these things happening and know it's wrong need to stand up, speak and act. Silence avoids confrontation and debate, yes, but when it comes down to people's lives and our freedoms, they ASKED for a debate by threatening them.

Quite frankly, there is a lot that could be done, right now, to secure our futures and make this country the great place it once was, for opportunity, morals you name it. But it seems everyone is so keen on making the wrong choices, constantly, we are digging our own graves here, READY and WILLING to fall in them. No one seems to have realized yet how fast we are spiraling downward toward some kind of terrible destruction. I have no idea what kind, but perhaps that's what makes it all the more terrifying.
I would go into all the things I think they are doing wrong but it would be an extremely long message then. xD

I know it's hard to find positive things in a country that's sliding, but I hold out hope and I encourage you to do the same. There is much that can be done here and we need to do all we can. <8)

I have tried to speak, and I've gotten others to. All we got was the same answer everytime and no results. None of the people in charge WANT to do anything. Those that could take charge, as you said, won't DO anything. I'd do something if I knew what. Everything I know to do I'm to young and it all makes so frustrated. Heck I'd walk right up to congress if I could. I would be proud, optimistic and proactive if I knew what to do and how to do it or if I were in the position to, but I don't and I'm not and its all frustrating. Don't worry about long messages cause I'm kinda making some myself ^^; I know theres stuff to do but I don't know what.

Continue to speak out whenever the chance comes. Even if it means people dislike you for a difference in opinion, that's their problem for being so shallow. Do not feel shy or afraid to speak openly to anyone and everyone about what you feel. If others are free to spew out what they believe about things that are hurting is and think it's okay, we should be able to speak the truth WE believe.

The chance will arise for you to speak and act. Being young can be a disadvantage but think of all the other young people like us who don't know their own asses from a hole in the ground and believe, virtually everything they are told. You are able to be down on there level as a voice of reason among them which could do more than if you were a member of congress somehow.

Which is EXACTLY the point. It all resorts back to people doing nothing to stand up for what they believe. For whatever reason or lame excuse, people who dislike these... "politicians" who get voted into positions of authority over us, DON'T speak up enough about it or refuse to elect them. In everyone's defense though, my personal opinion is, the candidates lately have been awful choices. It's the lesser of two evils constantly because everyone has it in their minds to expel certain people for certain judgmental reasons. <8\

The government needs LESS control over our lives and what we do for starters. It will open breathing room for people to expand again. This mess with attacking the internet to make sure that piracy doesn't happen and to secure people's property. Is that all REALLY so important in the grand scheme of things right now? Outside stopping some money loss from there big companies that make music and movies, it's doing nothing but giving the government more excuses to arrest people and control the population. To watch them and observe what they are doing.
What people in our government should be mainly focused on, besides ending our involvement in other countries wars, is the working force issues.
I honestly don't believe that these things could possibly take that long to fix, seeing as we got ourselves into it very quickly. Sure traveling down a hill is faster than up, but the solution itself is insanely simple: Jobs need to STOP being "shipped" out of the country and set more here on our own soil. NOW. Not two months from now, not a year from now, not over a week. NOW. We need to drill our own oils and farm our own foods HERE here the work is NEEDED.
YES, it means getting off our asses and doing something for ourselves for once, but it's WORTH IT. I'm sick of seeing pie charts and lists of things that we have "accomplished" over the last year when NOTHING is changing for us. Things are still just as hard for working people to find jobs, and with all these new laws lined up to be passed, we'll just be in even worse shape if they all go through.

Even changing these two things would make a HUGE difference to a lot of people out there in our suffering country. Farming industries would do better which means food prices would lower, oil might even be cheaper after a while, and the economy would start to progress again.

But who is making moves to do this? NO ONE. It's insane. >>

Thats exactly how I feel! What I mean! Its what I do every chance I get! But its insane cause I swear it feels like everyone I talk to everyone I know has the same mindset! No one wants to do anything about it or the act like they don't know when its RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF THEM. Congressmen, normal people, and the utter fools my age you mentioned. I swear I think losing faith in humanity in general. Everywhere I look things like this are happening! Jobs going down, terrorism, all of it and people either don't care or are to cowardly to do anything! Wheres the America that stopped Hitler, that flung itself bravely through the depression, that rose itself up under one God as the nation to pull the world out of the darkness it had been under for so many centuries! What happened to Billy Sunday and to Mark Twain! To Joan of Arc and to all the others who made this world great! You can't find them amongst the IDIOTS than run things! Its maddening the world that I was born into! Who's helping stop it? Who is working to make things right? The tiniest hand full of people. OH MY GOSH ITS UNBELIEVEABLE. From what I'm seeing, the entire world needs a miracle to change.

Exactly! Which is the problem, we are being made into cowards daily by everything that we refuse to do. Men are not men anymore as my mum said. People are so selfish and greedy now, more than ever, it's sickening to think about it.

The America that was once great doesn't happen to be here anymore. I have faith that it can regain it's honor so long as people wake up and become sensible again. It's not all about the fun or the joy anymore when there is truly nothing to be celebrating. I hardly feel there is anything currently to even be proud of outside the hope and idea of us becoming great again. We are in a dire situation and in need of action. NOW.
What made us great was our desire to learn and help others. Honestly HELP them. Not to take what they had or make our own lives easier but to save lives and secure their futures because we could afford it. To make the world a better place. We weren't striving to take what we wanted through dishonesty or harsh means, we worked for what good there was to achieve.
People have been taking these important lessons to be learned about ourselves as humans and placing them on things of far less importance. Making sure everyone has food to eat and a place to stay is WAY more important than designing new ways to have sex and not get pregnant. Besides, with the way food is being prepared by these greedy food corporations, we will lose the ability to get pregnant anymore. More and more all the time women are unable to have kids due to growth hormones in food/drink. BECAUSE people are cutting corners and buying crap from other countries that must be filled with perspectives to ship and keep for a longer time, instead of making it here. They buy them cheaply and fill them with things that are easy to grow then sell them for a higher cost. It's all about making money off people. Ruining their lives all the while.

Unfortunately, people have begun to believe they don't need God anymore. I see Christians, who are doing absolutely nothing to provoke anger, being attacked merely for believing what they do. Bullied and harassed. They say that Christians are "narrow minded" and "unable to accept people" and yet THEY SAY THESE THINGS ABOUT CHRISTIANS. They say that all Christians or lovers of God are narrow minded people. That is more stereotyping than should be allowed, but it is nearly glorified now and no one says a word. Judging someone based on their beliefs is equally narrow minded and exactly the same principle. Yet trying to expose this hypocrisy to them and like trying to teach them how to breathe underwater. Close to, if not completely, impossible.

No one is working for it really. No one is doing anything we NEED. I've not seen any politicians in position to make these needed changes taking a stand or speaking up.
Which ultimately means that those who do not agree with the idiotic sorry excuse for a government must do whatever must be done. Not at the cost of innocent lives, but I fear rebellion will soon be the only option and many will die for their cause of righteousness. <8\

However, Miracles are God's specialty and I know that if anyone can change the world it would be him. I honestly wouldn't blame him if he didn't, but I know myself and my family are praying that something can change and things will get better for us all as a Country and in the world.

People just need to act. And act RIGHTLY for once... And if it comforts you at all, just know I am in your same boat over here on these things and I agree. <8)
