Rest in Peace victims in Colorado by looklooklookitabook Rest in Peace victims in Colorado by looklooklookitabook
Rest in Peace victims in Colorado....

---

I am sickened to hear that even movie theaters have become a battleground for the insanity that lies beyond. Twisted people destroying people's very lives and for what? There is no logical reason for this.... I hope that every person who lost someone will find comfort somewhere and that those who were lost will rest in peace. It's a tragic thing that never should have taken place. <8(

I know they will start trying to control more things about movie theaters now which, is understandable, but not what we need.
We don't need metal detectors before watching a film. We need psychos like this man DISCOURAGED.
Think about how the movie industry, as well as people going to see them, will suffer for this if they do up security at theaters. It won't be a place to relax, it will be airports in America 2.0.
If any of you have ever used commercial airways before, you'd know what it's like. Many people avoid using airplanes now and it ends up costing them more because they are SUCH a problem. Imagine going to see a FILM on the weekend and arriving a bit late, you will have to unload your purse/bag/everything, go through a metal detector, deal with whatever you might have on you like change or keys, and GOD KNOWS WHAT OTHER THINGS THEY'LL MAKE YOU DO JUST SO YOU CAN SEE THE MOVIE. A MOVIE. A FREAKING MOVIE.

The solution to this problem is really hard to define, seeing as we are dealing with completely demented people with obviously no sense of right or wrong, but more security at theaters is NOT one of them.

The disgusting person who did this.... Some people say he was trying to redo a scene from a Batman comic before but whatever the case may be, it doesn't give ANYONE the right to do something like this. Ever.
He needs to suffer an extreme punishment for this terrible crime. I don't mean a few years in prison, or even a life sentence, I mean he needs the death sentence. If there was something worse, than that would be the next option.

It needs to be proof that violent acts against other people, innocent people, is NOT to be tolerated. The only people who should feel afraid in our country, to live from day to day, are criminals, murderers, rapists... All distorted minded people who are willing to inflict pain upon another for no reason at all...

Instead of making OUR lives harder because of some murderer by upping security, they should be cracking down harder on people like this. Discouraging crime. Not letting them get away with such awful things by sending them to prison for a few years....

12 innocent people were killed and 30 + wounded. Most of them are still in critical condition and could die over time. I hope and pray that everyone who survived will be alright.

Anyhow, thanks for viewing and everyone, please pray for the people if you can.

I'm from Colorado myself (awfully clpse to Aurora too) and this picture almost brought me to tears. You never think that something like this could happen close to home, and then it does.

I bet that must have been really scary feeling to know it happened so close to you.

I know, they were just going and seeing a movie. I don't think I can even imagine how that would feel. <8\

I actually haven't heard of that but I will look into it. It's true, more awful stuff is happening because no one is learning that there are extreme consequences to their wrong actions. Instead these people go to prison for a few years and get to kick back, watch TV, eat three meals a day, have all their living expenses taken care of, even run businesses from inside out if they have proper connections. While outside, people are dead and families struggle more and more every day to stay afloat while murders and criminals are taken care of and given a place to sleep every night. It's so screwed up.

The problem is people crack down on guns when the weapon does nothing without a user. People kill people and instead of punishing this man for what he did, they will use it as another lame ass excuse to keep guns away from people. :iconeyerollplz:

Criminals need to be the only people who are afraid. Everyone else should be free to live how they want to and not have to worry about being safe when going to see a midnight showing of the latest Batman movie, you know?
